Why this blog?

Hello and welcome to Flying Kitten Estates.

Flying Kitten Estates is a private estate within Second Life World(tm) run by Andre van Schaijk, inworld known as Abigail Merlin.

I'm offering 2 main services within Second Life,
First is the selling and renting of parcels of virtual land on regular sims, currently I have 2 of these, kitten house wich is booked full and kitten island that is now being filled and has both land for sell and for rent ranging for 512 sqm to 4096 sqm.

The seccond servies is selling and renting of whole openspace sims. these sims have the same size as a regular sim but only have 1/4 of the prim count (3750 prims) and share resources with 3 other openspace sims on the same cpu core, because there are 4 cores per server there will be 16 openspace sims total where normal sims have one sim per core for a total of 4 sims per server. this sharing means that if one of the 3 other sims uses more then 1/4 of the resources a normal sim uses it will degrade all 4 openspace sims on that core, this is not a problem for upto 4 houses on a openspace sim but a mall or club is not adviced. Offcourse you can't controll what happens on the other 3 sims on the core so each openspace sim rented or bought trough me will come with estate manager right alowing you to restart the sim, this places it on another server.

Now you might be wondering why not just by an openspace sim directly from Linden Lab, the answer to that is that you can't unless you already own a regular sim. This also means that I can't offer full transfer of the sims, the sim itself stays in my name, only the land and the estate manager rights can be sold to you, tier still has to be payed to me and I pay the tier to LL.

Offcourse I understand people are nervouse about paying me instead of LL directly but rest asured that I have been in the estate buseniss for nearly a year and never reclaimed any land injustly, in fact I have always worked with the residents to help them out if for some reason can't make the next payment and need an extention.

With kind regards,
Abigail Merlin/Andre van Schaijk
